Welcome to Krystal Bath Essentials!
Back in 2016, a few friends were driving more than an hour just to buy bath bombs. I thought there had to be a better way, so I decided to learn how to make them myself.
​
Like most makers, I started by testing everything on myself. Once I was happy with the results, I shared products with friends and family. It didn't take long before people started asking if they could buy them, and before I knew it, a hobby had grown into a business.
​
Today, Krystal Bath Essentials offers bath and body products, skincare, home fragrance, candles, wax melts, and more, but bath bombs will always hold a special place in my heart because they're where this journey began.

The Story Behind the Logo
The diamond in my logo represents my name, Krystal.
The water splash surrounding it represents where this business started: bath bombs. What began with a few handmade bath bombs has grown into a collection of products designed to help people relax, recharge, and take a little time for themselves. The logo is a reminder of both my name and the place where this journey started.

Creativity Is My Favorite Part
One of the reasons I've stayed in business for so many years is that I genuinely love creating. I love color. I love fragrance. I love sparkle. I also love taking a random idea and figuring out how to bring it to life. Over the years, I've created everything from rainbow bubble bars and alien-inspired bath bombs to a working snow globe bath bomb complete with a clear globe filled with sparkling bubble bath and festive holiday details.

One of my all-time favorites was a cheeseburger bubble bar made with individual layers for the bun, burger patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It looked good enough to eat, although I definitely wouldn't recommend that. 😄
Sometimes my ideas work perfectly the first time. Sometimes they don't. Either way, I love the process of creating products that are beautiful, fun, and a little unexpected.

Behind the Scenes
People often see the finished products, but there's a lot more that goes into running a handmade business than most people realize.
Every product starts as an idea before it goes through testing, photographing, listing, packaging, inventory management, customer service, marketing, and all the other behind-the-scenes tasks that come with owning a small business.
Some days are exhausting.
Some products make me question my sanity.
(I'm looking at you, body wash. 😆)
Trying to keep shimmer suspended exactly where I want it can be surprisingly frustrating.
But even on the difficult days, I still love what I do.

Why Self-Care Matters
The world is busy. Most of us spend our time taking care of work, family, responsibilities, and everyone else around us. Too often, we're the last thing on our own priority list. I believe self-care isn't selfish. Whether it's enjoying a warm bath, lighting a favorite candle, using a luxurious body butter, or simply taking a few minutes to slow down, those small moments matter.
I want my products to give people something to look forward to. I want them to feel excited about taking care of themselves. I want them to remember that they deserve the same care and kindness they so freely give to everyone else.
My favorite reminder is:
"You can't fill everyone's glass with an empty pitcher."

So take the bath. Light the candle. Use the shimmer. Make time for yourself. You deserve it.
